Would you like to live in Spain and get to know its culture?
Instituto Hemingway offers a diverse range of volunteering programs that help you become an ambassador of your country in Spain! Through this programme you can broaden your horizons in many ways that can show you the world from a new perspective. In addition, it’s a great opportunity to improve your Spanish language skills, make new friends from all over the world and gain professional skills.
There are a multitude options and industries for you to choose from, among others: tourism, education and environmental work. You can choose your preference, for example teaching languages, restoring monuments, working in cultural institutions such as art galleries, museums and much more. If you remain unsure of what field of work you is for you, our coordinator can propose to you the best volunteering program tailored to your preferences and to your personal goals (language skills, work experience and the amount of time you would like to volunteer).
The minimum duration for volunteers is a month. It is recommendable that you take a Spanish course before you start to work to enable you to communicate better- we encourage you to read more about the courses that we offer at our school, including classroom courses and virtual courses through Skype.
We are certain that volunteering is one of the best ways to learn a language, get to know a new culture and develop your skills. With us your will overcome your weaknesses. The sky is the limit!
