Client view about Internships and Hospitality Management Jobs

What is the best thing about European Internships?
I liked very much my internship because of the atmosphere. I worked in a company whose employees enjoy being at work, so you're surrounded by friendly people who are anxious to serve one purpose - the success of the company.

What have you learned in Spain that you didn't learn at school?
I believe I have learned how the real world operates. A certain project may sound like it has great potential, but the real test comes in evaluating every aspect of the project. A project may be immediately cut if it is over budget, so the problem often lies in finding a cost effective and practical solution that will lead to a successful result.
Client: Mary Williams
Origin: University of Southern Mississippi
What is the most important thing you've learned there?
Teamwork. This past summer, I have learned how important teamwork is to a successful company. So much more can be achieved when a team is working together to accomplish one goal.

What advice would you give to future interns?
As much as possible, talk to your coworkers. The people you work for and around are an excellent source of information. You can learn so much about the company and the industry by asking a few questions. I was amazed at how my boss took the time to explain to me anything I didn't fully understand in a way that made me feel confident about my abilities to do the job well.
