Furthermore students can expand their cultural awareness by learning about the traditions and customs of Spanish speaking countries.

The History of Spanish Art
will offer students unique temporal insights into Sevillian and other Spanish paintings , architecture and sculptures whereas the History of Spain course will allow students to compare Spain´s past with the Spain of today studying topics as diverse as women in society and nationalism.

Through the Spanish Civilization and Culture course students will gain an understanding of Spanish multiculturalism with particular reference to the period between Roman times and the “movida” of the post-Franco Era. Various topics will be studied including dictatorship, democracy, regionalism and nationalism.

Another course offered is a Spanish language and Business course. As well as these modules mentioned above students can also choose between three specific marketing modules:  International Marketing, The European Union and The Global Economy. The second module will give students an overview of the European Union(EU) specifically examining its transformation from the European Community to the EU whilst also investigating the policies central to the European Union such as Competition, Agriculture and External Trade. EU-US relations will also be one of the specific topics studied. The final module will analyse controversies surrounding how the Global Economy is managed with particular reference to worldwide organisations such as the International Monetary Fund and  the World Trade Organisation whilst also looking at more regional organisations such as the EU, North American Trade Agreement and Mercosur.
