Night Marathon Bilbao Instituto Hemingway
This year is for the second time a night marathon in Bilbao.
The marathon is organised from the Bilborun club of Athletic of Bilbao and starts at 9 p.m. at 23 October.
The race has a length of 5 hours with a route of 42,195km. The marathon starts and ends at the esplanade of the Guggenheim museum
The route is through the whole city and mostly along the river of the city. With the help of different lightning effects the route has a very nice atmosphere.
The race is for participants from all over the world and with the age of 18. During these 5 hours the city is like changed when along the river there are running around 5 000 people wearing a tricot.
After the marathon there is time to celebrate the runners and most of all the winners of the race. Furthermore the runners will get some different prices and some coupes. The marathon is celebrated by having music, a film about the race and with fireworks.
Instituto Hemingway will also participate in this event.
